description: Virginia Coastal Resilience Master Plan (VA CRMP) Graduated Hazard Rasters. Represents the the most-frequent (least-rare) event that floods the location per given time horizon. Product names denote the time horizon (2020, 2040, 2060, 2080). The CRMP Phase II Planning Scenarios correspond to the coastal data time horizons as follows: Baseline (2020); Near-Future Moderate (2060); Near-Future High & Far-Future Moderate (2060); Far-Future High (2080). The data consist of various tidal and storm surge flood elevations sourced from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), respectively. Adjustments were made to bring the data to 2020 conditions to account for relative sea level rise from the tidal datum epoch of the source data. Future conditions (2040, 2060, 2080, 2100) represented projected sea level rise based on the NOAA 2017 Intermediate High Curve using a spatially variable representation across the state.
