Service Description: Fathom is a 3rd party flood hazard data provider with a comprehensive dataset of flood hazards including coastal, fluvial, and pluvial flooding. The data viewed on this map service is 2020, 0.2% AEP (500-year) floodplain with the three major sources of flooding combined into one extent. If you are interested in acquiring Fathom data and are a representative with any of Virginia’s Tribal or Government entities (defined as state agencies, universities, and political subdivisions) please contact flood.resilience@dcr.virginia.gov to sub-license Fathom data from DCR for a 12-month, renewable license term. The license agreement between DCR and Fathom includes limitations on the distribution and sharing of the complete dataset which will extend to sub-license users.
